The final has attracted considerable attention, with Vaibhav Sooryavanshi once again in the spotlight. The 15-year-old batter made a quick 38 off 21 balls in India’s previous match and has been promoted to the top of the order for the gold-medal clash.

The young left-hander has already attracted attention for his aggressive batting and ability to score quickly. His previous 38 off 21 balls demonstrated his intent, and India will hope he can again provide momentum during the powerplay.
Pakistan, meanwhile, have several spin options who could test India’s left-handed batters as the innings develops. The conditions in Nisshin could also make bowling variations important during the middle overs.
